Melissa Alicia is a portrait & concept photographer from Southwest Florida. She specializes in studio & on-location photography. Including editorial, fashion, beauty, portraiture, lifestyle, and dance. She’s a painter/printmaker (not photo prints, but lithographs, collographs, etc) by heart, who has a knack for designing solely around color. Her interests lie within creating high fashion and avant-garde imagery using her strong sense of color and styling on every one of her shoots. She can work with just about any “model” with her ability to help them relax in front of the camera and with their posing to ensure that the vision for the final product is realized. Melissa believes in getting the shot right within the camera not in photoshop. She has extensive knowledge of lighting and works with or without studio lighting on location depending on the concept of the shoot.
